Summary/Desription[]

The Bean Team are excited to have the President come to Butterbean's Café for lunch, but the vehicle is stuck at the mid-point of the journey. And what's worse – Butterbean puts helping people out first, only to miss surprising the president.

Plot[]

Dazzle finished serving a random customer when the bean tablet rang. She answered and heard 'Please hold for the president'. Dazzle called Butterbean to take the call. They exchanged greetings and the President announced that she'll stop by at Butterbean's Café for lunch. She added that she was told by her secretary that they could be there around noon if they stay on schedule. She hanged up but Butterbean and Dazzle lit up their faces and squealed in delight. Poppy came out for Butterbean to give her the news. The latter also shared this to the viewer(s) in her first interaction. When Poppy asked what they should serve, Dazzle replied with the president's favorite meal – grilled-cheese sandwich and tomato soup – as she looked it up online. They shared their excitement in making them, after which Butterbean showed them the plan with the Beanitor via her bean screen.

Dazzle asked Cricket two questions, the first was whether she cleared all the tables, which she said she already did and the second – what she's doing and she showed her the Puddlebrook flag, singing the US presidential anthem to bring a giggle out of Dazzle. Poppy told them that they should get all the ingredients ready so they can make the meal fresh right when the president/prime minister gets there, which her boss saw as a plan. The phone rang and Dazzle went to answer. Both girls still shared in their delight in making meal for an important person – but when Dazzle said 'Oh no, really?', their mood was overturned. After hanging up, Dazzle broke the news and they were temporarily disappointed. Butterbean got a plan B – if the president/prime minister can't come to the café, they'll have to take the café to her. the bean team got confused, with Cricket adding it'll take a lot of magic, but Butterbean cleared all that, assuring them that they can do all this and deliver it to her in the sweet ride. Another issue Dazzle told them – the president/prime minister is stuck way out in the middle of the road. Since she saw the need to get going, she asked her little sister if she could come along, to which she responded with waving the flag and singing the US presidential anthem to bring a giggle out of the team. Butterbean summarized what she said to the viewer(s). The Bean Team packed the items for Butterbean and Cricket to send to wherever she got stuck to come to the café in the sweet ride.

After waving goodbye, they were on the road. They stopped beside Mr. Learnerbrook's lemonade stand. She told them they don't have lemons or ice to make lemonade. When Butterbean offered to help, Cricket reminded her of the president's/prime minister's lunch surprise. She told the viewer(s) her little sister was right, but they had to double the quickness so they can get going since she wanted her help. Butterbean took lemons from a corner of the rear area and removed ice cubes from the freezer. She opened the side-serve window of the vehicle to give them to them. Ms. Learnerbrooka and the kids showed appreciation after which they continued their journey. Cricket asked her big sister how the president/prime minister would like her sandwiches cut, which she replied negative and asked her back. She replied 'small' better for dipping into the soup, but she said in humourous way to make both laugh. Butterbean bypassed the Hops elders, who she saw right away and reversed the sweet ride so she could meet them. Mr. Hops told them they were going to relax and get some veggie dogs and Mrs. Hops told them he forgot the grill. Like Ms. Learnerbrook, Butterbean offered to help and Cricket reminded her of the president/prime minister, that they might miss her. But Butterbean told her they're having a picnic emergency, that they need to help.

Butterbean assured the viewer(s) that it only takes a couple of minutes to make a couple of veggie-dogs for the Hops elders. So they made it, opened the side window and she handed the veggie-dogs to them via her whisk. They continued their journey and just ahead, they saw Mr. Brookwrench towing the president/prime minister's vehicle. Butterbean thought they were too late. They conversed with him and he learnt that the president/prime minister was going to come for lunch at the café while they learnt already about her vehicle's concern. The president/prime minister rolled down her window to their amazement, if not shock, when she heard Cricket say her favorite meal. She got out of the vehicle and waved at Mr. Brookwrench as he took it away for repairs. Cricket brought out her flag from the sweet ride and sang the the U.S. national anthem, much to her appreciation. Butterbean summoned the upper snackery feature of the vehicle with her whisk. The president/prime minister repeated Cricket's mode of eating her favorite snack. The sisters made it with the background Let's Get Cooking! song rolling.

They brought it up to her and she requested a fairy finish, as she believed she heard while in business, which butterbean did with president bean on the grilled cheese sandwiches to be decorated with the puddlebrook seal. The president/prime minister made the last request to join her for lunch, which they did, with Butterbean saying she'll/they'll (with Cricket) be honoured. Butterbean interacted with the viewer(s) for the last time saying they get to make and eat lunch with the president/prime minister and they got to help a few friends along the way. She giggled after seeing her little sister passed her by waving the Puddlebrook flag singing the U.S./U.K. national anthem.
