Poppy is a main character in the series and is part of The Bean Team. She is voiced by Kirrilee Berger. Poppy is Rebel's older cousin.
Role in The Bean Team[]
Simply put, she is a café chef. For details, and referencing Butterbean's dialogue in the series' debut episode, she can cook the most delicious... anything you (the viewer) can think of, which is to say, worth the right ingredients and tools, their meals are always irresistible and their signature Poppy-perfect. Her magic wand is a mixing spoon, which is orange with a butterfly on the white handle and blue swirls.

Poppy is also very cautious. For instance, when Dazzle asked her to get walnuts in "Surprise Cake!" she doubted her request, with Dazzle having to convince her to go to the market. It is also shown in the episode "The April Fools' Joke!" that she also is very cautious into getting tricked on April Fool's, so much so that when Dazzle tried to trick her, she turned the tables and tricked the Bean Team, and most specifically Dazzle instead. When she is angry, instead of yelling or being openly mad, she often displays passive-aggressive traits instead. Despite this, Poppy is very kind-hearted and apologetic especially if she messes up a customer's order. She is also very willing to help, such as when Cricket asks her for assistance in making pretzels.
Personality[]
Poppy tends to take her work very seriously. She only strives for precision and accuracy, no less. For example, when she was making fortune cookies in the episode "Poppy's Fortune!" she kept messing up and making a whole new batch. In "Bad Luck Jasper!" she fixed Jasper's skateboard, and when he did not want to deliver, Poppy took the job instead. She is also shown to be competitive, as in "Poppy's Cooking Class" she takes up on Ms. Marmalady's deal and challenges her. It is also shown that she is very proud too. We can see that in the episode Switchin' in the Kitchen! Where she dosen't want to admit that Dazzle’s job where harder than Poppy had excpected. We can also see this in the episode A Bean for Halloween! When butterbean asks if she became scared, Poppy answers that she might have become a little startled. As if she wants to protect her pride. Poppy is also nervous. For example in the episodes Cookie Master! she laughs nervously whenever the The Bean Team starts talking about the cookies. In A Bean for Halloween! Poppy is shown not to be so easy to scare.
Appearance[]
Poppy is a fairy. She has orangish-red hair that she ties into a ponytail using a yellow flower scrunchie, green eyes and apricot skin. She also wears sky blue glasses. She wears an orange elbow-length dress with a yellow collar and sleeve ends, a white flower on the center, aqua-blue capris leggings with yellow flowers, and yellow and orange loafers with a yellow flower on top. Poppy also wears a yellow apron with an orange flower symbol on the front. She also has cookie-like wings with white icing and yellow flower sprinkles.
