Ms. Learnerbrook orders for end-of-school food for her children in the form of fruitsicles. But refrigeration in the café to complete the making of the fruitsicles is tough now as the refrigerator is broken down and the Bean team may not have a choice but to turn to their rival, Ms. Marmalady, if they want to deliver them on time. Will she use this as an opportunity to win over more customers and thwart the team's advances?
Plot[]
In a hot and summery Puddlebrook, Butterbean and her little sister entered the café and greeted Dazzle, who returned the greetings. Butterbean expressed her feeling about the weather which Cricket told her its meaning. Butterbean asked Dazzle if Poppy's in the kitchen and she affirmed, adding she is already baking, befor the former headed there. Jasper came in and Dazzle gave him what he calls the jobiers of the summer: getting fresh stawberries from the farm. Ms. Learnerbrook came in and told Butterbean she wants to serve the school children with something special as it's the last day of school. Butterbean and Cricket suggested to her banana strawberry friutsicles between them, but Dazzle told them because as she just sent him to pick fresh stawberries the friutsicles won't freeze in time, so they landed on banana fruitsicles. Ms. Learnerbrook liked it, calling it 'super summery', as she went to pay with her credit card. Dazzle told her they'll deliver the order just in time for the beginning of summer. Satisfied, she left and Butterbean interacted with the viewer(s) for the first time, verbally disappionted about the absence of strawberries for the fruitsicles, but they'll make do with what they have. Butterbean told her team they should get started right away as freezing could take a while. As the Let's Get Cookin'! song rolled, they made and finished it.
Cricket asked if she can carry it to the freezer. Her big sister agreed and she did just that with Poppy following her. When she opened the fridge, both gasped as they saw a liquid-dripping sight in the fridge. Cricket told Butterbean to come and see it for herself. With Butterbean pondering verbally about where they were going to find another freezer, Poppy suggested they use Ms. Marmalady's. Dazzle was unsure as she called her but Cricket doesn't trust her a bit. At Marmalady's, the monkey aides answered the phone and firstly said their boss is too busy spying on them and that she can'talk right now. Not wanting to blow her cover, Ms. Marmalady snatched the phone so she could listen to her plight. Sensing this as an opportunity, she communicated to her monkey employees if she could freeze the fruitsicles, package them and deliver them to the children herself; and that why should she do all the hardwork when they've already done it for her. Cricket rarely communicated to the viewer(s), saying she doesn't trust her to freeze an ice cube and that she'll have to keep an eye on her.
Butterbean brought her frutisicles to her for freezing, adding that when Jasper returns with the sweet ride, she came over and get the fruitsicles. Ms. Marmalady assured her, uttering a familiar pun – fairy surprised – maybe so they can giggle in agreement. Right after Butterbean left, she commanded her monkey employees not to open the freezer door, adding that the fruitsicles need time to freeze and should they open the door, the coldness would escape, as she was going to get the Marmacycle. Between them, Spork and Spatch did the exact opposite, i.e. opened and left the freezer door ajar until she called out for them, thinking that it will be frozen in seconds. Back at Butterbean's, Butterbean told her worried sister to fend off her unrest, as she assured her exactly what she told Ms. Marmalady. Cricket began getting suspicious when the Marmacycle arrived, so she flew close to its spot. She heard Ms. Marmalady imitating the children's appreciation for her and "her" fruitsicles, bringing a gasp out of her, as Spork and Spatch packaged the fruitsicles. After they departed for the school, Cricket flew back to the café and told them what she saw. Shocked, they flew to the outer window just in time to see her whistle past. Jasper arrived with the sweet ride and the strawberries. Butterbean had an idea just as Jasper was wondering what action he had miss. She took the bushel of strawberries and told Jasper to go after Ms. Marmalady and try to stop her before she gets to the school. After he left, she told both Dazzle and Poppy to rapidly make strawberry smoothies. When Poppy got concerned about the refrigeration, Butterbean made it known to them that the sweet ride has freezer. She admitted about the time towards the end of school in her next interaction with the viewer(s), but she remained positive about its/their refrigeration before she and her team get there.
Ms. Marmalady and her monkey aides got company with Jasper baring down on them with his skateboard. He sped with his speed call of Jasper Faster!, but she barracaded him to where he jumped over a thrown branch – only to fall into a nearby puddle and grunt. Ms. Marmalady got to the school in time to see the kids burst outside. Ms. Learnerbrook thought it was Butterbean, but Ms. Marmalady had her way of saying she isn't here 'not being professional'. Her dislike for her was imminent, as was her to herself when she opened the chest to see melted fruitsicles. Whiles the kids saw them and verbally pointed to her, she pointed to Spork and Spatch. Ms Learnerbrook was going to call Butterbean, but the honk she heard meant there's no need, as she arrived. First she greeted them, happily took the melted fruitsicles off her grasp and her sister gave her a "Hmph!" in disbelief. Jasper arrived telling Butterbean about his failed attempt to stop her, soaking wet. Butterbean assured him that she had another plan; she and Cricket got inside the sweet ride. She told the viewer(s) that the smoothies couldn't freeze enough, but they are rather frozen into – summer slushies. Butterbean paused them from finishing the slushies, as she hasn't done the fairy finish yet. She used the swirly bean for it to make them summery swirled slushies. Ms. Marmalady saw her monkey aides drinking their share and took them for herself by force, but they ended up in the air and onto her head, making her cry like a baby. Butterbean ended by telling the viewer(s), "You can have what is called a happy accident and when that happens it's pretty sweet."
Trivia[]
