Plot[]
Jasper is packing up the refreshments and tropical items for a luau when Butterbean and her little sister flew in to greet him. They then went inside to greet Dazzle. Jasper asked the latter where the rest of the boxed items should go to, to which she replied, beginning with the starfruit and the the silverware; the starfruit goes with the star decorations, the silverware goes with the silver pots. With the boxed napkins, Dazzle talked what she did – putting them on the boxed strawberries, as they both are red. Butterbean complimented her organisation which she appreciated whiles giving Jasper the starfruit and star decors boxes to go pack inside the sweet ride. A second later, in came Mrs. Quinn, who brought some pictures for the decoration at the luau. For the sake of the viewer(s) (child/children watching) not knowing what a luau and a tropical fruit are, Cricket asked Mrs. Quinn for the former and Poppy provided the answer for the latter. Butterbean added to what Mrs. Quinn said, including dancing a traditional hula dance; Dazzle finished scheduling Poppy's tasking of readying the Teriyaki chicken, sweet potatoes and pineapples – three of the vast array of delicacies the bean team has planned and packed for the luau. In addition, she'll be making tropical fruit smoothies for the episodal special. She used the bean screen to show them, except Poppy (who went back to the kitchen to continue cooking) and Jasper (who was behind the sweet ride packing), how she'll make them. She cautioned about not leaving the smoothies in the freezer of the sweet ride or they'll freeze solid. With Butterbean satisfied, she left the café saying she has "some errands" to run and she'll see them at the luau in time for the hula. Jasper took the box of coconuts which are the last to got into the sweet ride for delivery. Whiles Dazzle began mixing the smoothies, Cricket kept practicing her hula.
With everything set and packed, Dazzle took the sweet ride ignition and lock keys from her front apron pocket, saying she "doesn't want to lose them". She and Cricket got in and left the café with Jasper putting his headphone on, imagining playing a rockstar tune as he headed inside. Dazzle confessed to the viewer(s) about the complications of the organization of the luau, but nonetheless complements her organizational nature.
Hours later, the luau was set. Cricket had a bit of fun with her hula, making Dazzle giggle. Mrs. Quinn brought in her guests to greet her and Cricket and settle into the Hawaiian atmosphere. She told Dazzle about sharing the smoothies, which reminded her to get them out of the sweet ride's freezer as she doesn't want them to freeze. Cricket showed the guests to their chairs. Dazzle opened the rear side of the freezer and found out it was locked. She check the door of the driver's seat and it was locked too. Forgotten where she put them, she asked Cricket where the keys are, but instead called Jasper so he can bring another set of the sweet ride ignition and lock keys to him. But he was busily playing rockstar with the loud music on his headphone. With him not responding, she silently began panicking and Cricket, after finding out about this, tried to console her, referring to what she knows and does best – organisation – but in her interaction with the viewer(s), it was just to ease 10% of the worries she was feeling.
More guests began arriving at the luau and Cricket was warming them into the experience by serving drinks in coconut shells with bakalula umbrellas. For Dazzle, worries turned to goofs in the face of Mrs. Quinn as she moved to where the silverware are packed – since she knows keys are silver. Dazzle's worries eased a bit when she rested her hands on her front silver pocket and heard key noises. The panic returned when they overheard Mrs. Schruder tell her friend about the hula dance starting any minute from now. The back side of the sweet ride was finally unlocked and the freezer was opened to their woe about the frozen-solid smoothies. Butterbean came and inquired Dazzle why. Refer to the second point of the Trivia section what she said. Mrs. Quinn announced it was almost time for the hula dance and that Dazzle has some desert for them to enjoy. Butterbean got the idea and told them to turn the smoothies into Hawaiian shave ice, as well as adding fruit syrup on top of them.
Trivia/Goofs[]
- Mrs. Quinn refered to Hawaii as a place and not a U.S. state. Poppy also referred to the tropics as a place, rather than the parts of the world closer to the equator. This may be not to overwhelm the young kids minds about 7th-grade-to-11th-grade information about them.
- Viewer(s) could argue that Dazzle knew the keys to the sweet ride were inside her front apron pocket and that she wasted time flying and moving around anyhow when she could've just took them off. When she did find the keys, nonetheless, she lied to Butterbean and Cricket that she "spent so much time organizing the luau" when in truth all she ever did in that time was to assume and panic.
