Summary/Description[]
When a tough customer orders something out of the ordinary for his mother, it is up to an unregular member of the bean team to step up with it so they can keep up the trend of making customers leave the café very happy and satisfied. But who?!
Plot[]
Jasper found himself in the kitchen making his first unsupported dish/meal of his own: sweet-and-sour bars. Jasper wanted to show it to the bean team but they were busy in their own right; Cookie distracted him from talking, Poppy give him a package while getting a bow to put on top of it and Dazzle gave him a pack of smoothies for delivery. He vouched for Butterbean last, but her bean tablet rang, and she answered it. A full-bearded character known as Mr. Sourcraw responded and wanted to place a very important order. His mother would be coming to the café with him and she wants a different treat as she's very picky. After he negated a pie or a cake order, Butterbean suggested he should come to the café himself to pick what he likes, which he repeated himself and affirmed. After hanging up, Dazzle and Cricket both saw Mr. Sourcraw and his mother as tough customers. Butterbean unmasked what they meant to the viewer(s) adding that she is optimistic with the lots of treats at the café, she can find something that he and his mother would like.
Jasper introduced his recipe as one he would like when Cricket claims Mr. Sourcrow likes nothing from the café, but Dazzle interrupted him to add picking the day's fruit order from the orchard to the smoothie pack delivery. He left his recipe on the counter surface and left with both errands. Both headed for the kitchen to start figuring out and making what Mr. Sourcraw and his mother would like, which Cricket claiming it as "uneasy". Cricket brought out one of Poppy's baked creations with Poppy bringing out a muffin/cupcake of her own. Butterbean felt optimistic that he will like one of those. Jasper returned to the café via the kitchen to spell out what he brought: different apple types which were green, red and pineapples, of which the latter was his favorite. He tried the second time to them his recipe, but Dazzle gave him another package when he came to the main area to deliver to Mrs. Quinn. Butterbean asked him through the window if he would like to show her anything, but responded he had to show her later as he had a package to deliver. Jasper cited the café's busy-ness as to why he hasn't shown it to them yet.
Dazzle heard a motorcycle sound and exclaimed that Mr. Sourcraw has arrived. When he did, Dazzle greeted him and had him seated while the bean team brings out the treats from the café that his mother might like, which he will believe when he sees it. He bemoaned the choices in front of him and each of them give him their own; Dazzle first offered to him a chocolate cupcake. He took it, looked to Butterbean who hilariously smiled at him and then to both Dazzle and Cricket on his other side who did likewise. He tasted it and got disgusted by its sweetness. Butterbean then give him a plate of sour cherry tart to try, but bemoaned its sourness and Cricket lastly offered him a plain muffin, but expressed his dislike, making her whisper to Dazzle that it is tough. But Jasper's recipe which Cricket took as the last-resort choice from the counter was well-received by him; a silent delight at its little sweetness and little sourness, as his mother likes it. The girls tried one bar each for themselves and reacted positively. Butterbean claimed they were Poppy's new lemon square recipe and vowed to make some for his mother, which he wanted to be perfect. When Dazzle, who took his credit card to cash in the order, asked what time he'll be back, he told them exactly 4 o'clock and left the café. Butterbean called out Poppy to make lemon squares for the Soucraws and she agreed. Butterbean let out a sigh of relief at finally getting him to like the meal at the café known as lemon squares to the viewer(s) and hopes to add them to their airy list of "fairy" happy customers once Poppy makes and serves them.
Poppy served the first batch of lemon squares for the sisters to try themselves. Cricket did but her face grew grim and when asked by Poppy, cited its yumminess and sourness, but with no sweetness. Butterbean reminded them what Mrs. Sourcraw liked and Poppy opted to make another batch with honey to sweeten them. After Poppy took the baked second batch out of the oven minutes later, the sisters tried one each with more grim faces. Poppy asked if there was a problem and Cricket cited its sourness and no sweetness. Poppy then opted to add more lemon juice to her next batch, which she did about 20 minutes later and claiming that it's got to be right. But after taking the third and final batch out of the oven, the sisters tried one for themselves with Butterbean citing its return to sourness but no more sweetness. Poppy wondered with surprise why she couldn't get them right before Dazzle cautioned them that the Soucraws have arrived. Butterbean bemoaned that they don't have the order ready before making it known to the audience that they will be having very unhappy customers if they can get the sweet-and-sour bars right, as it was her café's mission to make customers happy with everything they make.
Poppy thought she forgot an ingredient, but she rarely does that. Dazzle called out to them that the Sourcraws have arrived, forcing Butterbean to concede that they have to tell them that they're having trouble with the sweet-and-sour bars after such optimism despite Cricket reminding them that the café always delivers. Jasper arrived to see female sadness from the girls. When he asked why, Butterbean followed by her little sister responded they couldn't get an order right for Mr. Sourcraw, who is a really tough customer. Jasper suggested they should try his new recipe, but he saw that it wasn’t there which sounded weird to him as he left it on the counter. Realizing it was him, Butterbean then asked if that was what he was trying to tell them earlier; he affirmed citing the busy-ness around the café as the reason. Butterbean told him that was the only thing he like to his delight, but Dazzle was getting restless as they were waiting for their order. Jasper showed them how to make his sweet-and-sour bars when Butterbean asked him for it and Dazzle gave him the tablet. Poppy exclaimed that the pineapple ingredient was what was missing. Butterbean told Dazzle to tell them the bars would be ready in a jiffy. She and Jasper held hands as they said in unison; Let's Get Cooking! before high fiving each other. They made them with Poppy and Cricket accompanied by its tune.
Butterbean came to the main area announced Jasper's dish with him showing it to them before putting it down in front of Mrs. Sourcraw, who let out an inner growl before facing her son, who in turn faced them. Butterbean verbalized her hope that she likes it before she tried it herself. She dramatized and made suspense of her taste to puzzle the bean team before confirming positively to their relief and jubilation. As each bean team member took their piece, she gave her son a peg which brought out a smile from him and a cooing sound from the team. He tried his piece and couldn't be more satisfied with it. Butterbean honored Jasper by using his very own dedicated bean to do the fairy finish on the bars to make them lightning-bolt-shaped. Butterbean concluded that the Sourcraws seemed tough customers until their mood was lopsided by Jasper's dish, which proves even the toughest of customers usually have a sweet tooth. She took a bite of a sweet-and-sour bar and giggled before the episode screen faded out.
