Summary/Description[]
Cricket is so excited to have a new kitten/kitty (who she names as Cookie) that she doesn't only get carried away, but overwhelms it – resulting in it escaping at an opportune time. How will a now-disappointed but guilty Cricket with her big sister's help rectify this and return Cookie home?
Plot[]
Inside Butterbean's Café, Poppy brings muffins from the kitchen. Butterbean smelt the aroma and commented on her work, which she appreciated. Cricket swung a toy over Cookie, a new cat, meowing and playing with it, leading Butterbean to comment on that. Her little sister told her that was her favorite things to do other than what kittens usually do: purring, sleeping and eating. Jasper brings a package of salary sticks and lettuce from the farm and a pack of tuna. Dazzle thanked him and said what Poppy wanted to make for the day's special: fish-shaped sandwiches consisting of Poppy's famous wheatbread and and her very-famous tuna salad. The "tuna" word sparked Cookie to life as she slithered her furry body over Jasper to cause him to be imbalanced and spill the the items down so she could take the wrapped tuna. That worked halfway as Dazzle used her magic pen to reverse the flight of the items back into the packaging. The packet of tuna eluded it, fell down and Cookie chased after it, but Butterbean giggled as she used her whisk to send it back inside to Cookie's frustration. Cricket half-stressed that she wanted some tuna, but Butterbean reiterated that she has already had her breakfast. Dazzle told the latter they sliced the bread, chopped the carrot sticks and everything is ready to go (for the preparation). Butterbean connected the bean screen to the Beanitor and spelled out the procedure to make the sandwiches. Dazzle said the last thing to do was to open the café. Cricket told Cookie that it was time to topen and spoke to Dazzle both for herself and the kitten that they were ready, so Dazzle waved magic at the door curtain to raise it up. Cricket asked Butterbean if she can give Cookie a café tour since it's her first time there. She agreed and Cricket started getting excited in her statement to her, but she meowed in a "Whhooaa!" manner. Butterbean cautioned her little sister not to overwhelm her. When she asked for definition by repeating the word, she told her to be gentle. She agreed/promised and took Cookie out. Butterbean told the viewer(s) in what was the only interaction she had in the entire episode that she hopes Cricket's over-exhuberance and excitement dosen't overwhelm her.
Cricket takes Cookie up to the party room and starts playing loud music. Cookie twiched in haste more than dance. As she told her they can't have parties or be dancing all day, Cricket next sent her to the sweet ride where she introduced it to him, entered inside and blew the horn, much to Cookie's fright. Cricket next took her to the slide. Despite Cookie's attempts to wrestle free of her, Cricket referred to him as silly saying "it's the the best part of the tour". They slide down it and that made her looked frightened at Cricket as she disappeared sprints out of sight as it's overwhelming for her whiles Cricket laughed. She stopped laughing and from the next second onwards, she began looking for her inside and out of the café, as well as the slide and the sweet ride. Cricket asked Butterbean or Poppy as they were making the batter and salad for the sandwiches whether they saw Cookie. The latter said not since morning have they seen him with they former thinking she was with her on the tour of the café. Cricket told them what they did, but after she mentioned about the slide, which Cricket says it's the best part of the tour, Butterbean reminded her she's a kitten and that the slide may be pretty overwhelming for her. Cricket realized and looked out of ideas and sorry. She assured her she's hiding somewhere, so she should still keep looking for her and they'll call her in case she shows up around them. Cricket left the kitchen dejected but Poppy and Butterbean knew what was coming so they weren't bothered. Cricket admitted her mistake to the audience and hopes Cookie comes back.
Cricket resumed her search for Cookie around the café. When she knew she was really nowhere. she came back to the kitchen and panicked to ther big sister. As she tried to look for solutions, she saw Cookie slithering inside a box. She pointed Cricket to the box behind her and her mood changed. She reminded her little sister about overwhelming, she called out to her. When she thinks she won't come out, Butterbean told her to think of something. It then clicked to her that she likes tina. With Buterbean telling her they'd better start cooking, they make the fish-shaped tuna sandwiches with Poppy accompanied with Let's Get Cooking!. Cricket commented on their work before the girls imitated a breating-fish for self amusements. Cricket hoped she likes them and her big sister told her they should find out. She placed them down close to the box where she's hiding in, looking over at her sister's direction and fowards again. Cookie slowly came out of the box to feast on her tuna sandwich. Cricket came closer to pet and apologize to her, promising that she'll be extra careful from then on.
Poppy brought a dish of fish-shaped tuna sandwiches out to the main café area and announced its arrival. Butterbean does the fairy finish with a swimming bean on the sandwiches to make them swim. Mrs Brookbinder, Ms Gateau and Mr. Brookwrench took one of the swimming sandwiches before they floated/swam out of sight. Sam, the son of Mrs. Brookbinder, saw Cookie and asked Cricket if he could pet the kitty. She replied positively with caution that he needs to be gentle as she's only a kitten. He did and Cookie meowed. Cricket told the kid she likes him and the kid said he liked her back after which they laughed. Butterbean concluded by telling the viewer(s) that being in a new place can be overwhelming for everyone – especially if they are little kitties – but she thinks Cookie is going to feel right at home. Cookie appeared on her laps and meowed, invoking a giggle out of her; she said that's pretty sweet.
